I prefer using my own dip at home I make with EVOO, garlic, rosemary and a bit of balsamic vinegar. Not as pretentious as it sounds and Dee licious.

Truly good cheesy bread doesn't require either. But if I must choose I'd take the ranch to offset the acidity from the sauce on the pizza I'm eating.
