I bought a box of these at a dodgy asian market and I can't bring myself to make the tea from them even though they're supposed to be A1 for your health. Cordyceps is a fungus that attacks insects, in this case the chinese seek a type of caterpillar (the insects infected show traits of being a "zombie" when infected, shambling around).

What you purchase looks like a caterpillar, but it is actually the fungus as it took on the shape as it grew inside. Apparently olympic athletes use it for its benefits, but ... eh, I'm not an olympian.

Powder it and drink it as tea. May sound strange but it WILL give you crazy energy. It's good stuff.
