Do you guys wash your ground beef before cooking?

I boil it to get rid of the bacteria in it before I wash it so I don't get any on my hands

I put it in the dishwasher on a standard rinse cycle, spin it in the dryer for about 10 minutes then pat dry any excess moisture off with a moldy towel. Then I throw it in the garbage as I declare myself a vegan. It seems excessive but it really works well.
