Hey /co/
gonna make some home made chocolate to give my family as gifts and to eat some too.
The idea here is to melt the chocolate in soft cooking, maybe add some crisps, and leave in the forms for smaller pieces.
I tried this before and from what I heard you can't let the chocolate melt too much or it gets too soft afterwards.
Any tips? Any past experiences on the subject?
anyone? if not gonna go through it either way and post results

Do it
1 chop it up to small pieces
2 boil water preemptively (
3 place the water in a pan and another container above it with the chocolate (be very careful to not let the water splash with the chocolate)
4 mix it in furiously until every is uniform
5 when every is melted, take it off and place on another pan with cold water (+-20°C)
6 keep moving until chocolate cools off
7 time to spread out and use as you want
Now is just wait and see how it turned out
I think it worked fine too, added some rice crisps and made a mess on the forms
Did you temper the chocolate, anon? Otherwise the result will probably melt in room temperature.

yeah thats why I left it in boiled water then swapped with colder water to let it cool
the result was pretty solid, after being in the refrigerator a couple of hours, the bar piece came out super easy, however its pretty messy on the fingers
small bump
gonna post results later
