Fruit&nut combo is a thing. This is like tge cheapest variation on fruit&nut but if you use good jam and good PB it's actually pretty tasty. Good fresh bread is a must too.

Thin layer of PB on top and bottom, jam between.
Keeps the jam from making the bread soggy and makes sure the flavous is consistent throughout.
