What are your favourite combinations of food, taking into consideration all 5 senses?
One of mine's is bruschetta topped with tomato, mozzarella, pesto, basil and bresaola. Gaze upon it's smoky and crunchy yet crisp and refreshing beauty.

Beef carpaccio with arugula, a reduced balsamic vin, shaved swiss cheese. Only sense I'm really missing is hearing...beef carpaccio doesn't say jack shit.

In the summer I smoke a pork shoulder and eat it with KFC coleslaw on buns. I make the barbecue sauce, too.
Crunchy, sweet coleslaw with spicy, vinegary barbecue sauce on a gooey, soft bun with smokey, fatty pork.

A classic for sure. Might add pickle to the list though.
I always see spinach and feta cheese together in recipes, what's so good about that particular combination of food?
