Made some vegan dark bear chili from some vegan website, just wanted to try healthy eating. It called for 2 cans of beans but I replaced1 can with a pound of hamburger. Turned out pretty good. You get a real subtle hint of the beer but it's not gross or anything

This was the beer. It's hard to find a lone bottle of beer. Never even heard of this stuff.

The dude just took a vegan recipe and added meat to it which, frankly, isn't a bad idea.
Did the hamburger muddle the taste of the bear?
I like making vegan chili just because it's so quick. I don't even cook mine, just pop open a few cans and stuff, throw it all in a pot and let it sit in the fridge for a day.

I find bear to be very gristly when I cook with it. How did you keep your meal from having gristly bear in it?
