Does /cj/ degrease their peps?

A girl I knew used to do this in middle school. She used to also cut off the burnt tips of french fries because it was "potato cancer".

Implying it really even matters if you degrease a pizza anyway. The whole thing is grease.

i do this when i make pizza. i microwave the pepperoni slices and then hide them under the cheese.

they basically fry in their own grease in the microwave so they get crispy, which is what i want.

i always do it with cheap pepperoni, which tends to have more fat. fancy pepperoni tends to be a little drier to begin with, and i don't bother microwaving that stuff.

I actually microwave my pepperoni before putting them on the pizza, and then squeeze them between paper towel. Keeps my pizza from being a grease slick, and they crisp up faster.
