Any Chinese or Chinese cuisine enthusiast folks here? I went to a local Chinese market and bought this. The translation at the store was "13 spice mix", it smells like mint. How should I use it?
In case someone asks for a pic of whole box, I don't have it, I was stupid enough to dispose of it before asking here.

Also too stupid to look up recipes with that mix.

Ingredients: star anise, fennel fruit, prickly ash, cinnamon, white pepper, nutmeg, orange peel, lesser galangal rhizome, angelica root, liquorice, ginger, villous amomum and clove.
Looks far out dude.
Also http://www.wangshouyi.com/ appears to be their website.

thanks!
Sounds like a spice for something sweet. I suppose that a minty smell is from a star anise.

I'm a bit out of my depth with this one to be honest, I haven't even heard of some of those spices.
Sounds interesting, and I'm hoping that someone else will pipe up with a few suggestions.
