So I'm trying to use up some of this summer's jelly by making delicious jelly rolls to give away for christmas. I just pulled attempt #1 out of the over, and the cake stuck to the parchment paper. I tore off a layer removing the paper.
What did I do wrong? Should I have let it cool more? greased the paper?

What kind of yuppie slime has to corrupt a PB&J.
Nigger. 2 bread pieces. 1 part peanut butter, 1 part jelly. Not fancy enough? Kys.

IS A JELLY ROLL JUST A CYLINDRICAL JELLY SANDWICH?

The only ingredient they have in common is jelly. A jelly roll is cake, not bread

Are you brain dead or something?
>the cake stuck to the parchment paper
did you put butter or cooking spray on the paper?
I always thought a jelly roll had gelatin in it - this is just a Swiss Roll
You lied to me, America

Not at all. Should I have?

>I thought they were rolling a pb&j like sushi.
lmao you stupid fuck you can see its a cake in the OP pic

No. Parchment paper is non-stick. Did you actually use parchment paper?

That's what it said on the box
I spray or rub some water onto the parchment paper before peeling it off. That makes the cake not stick to it.
