Palermo's Tomato Pie - Bordentown, NJ

Its technically considered "trenton tomato pie", but this is what I think pizza should be like: thin crust, fresh crushed tomato, fresh mozzarella, olive oil.

It's not a local joint, but I do like Grimaldi's
they use coal burning ovens.

Mulberry st pizza in Manchester is decent. Pepe's is okay but they make it better in new haven.

When i was in italy with a friend of mine we would go to the same pizza place for lunch every day, it was really good. We tried a few more places and they made pizza that tasted good, but the textures weren't the same.

but the best basic pizza i have had is from OC NJ, mack and manko pizza, now just called manko and manko (pussy in japanese). they dont have too much cheese on the pizza, which i love, and you get burnt bubbles all over, but their damn sauce tops everything, and i dont even consider the sauce to be the most important thing on a pizza. i highly getting a pie fresh at the shop on the boardwalk if you are ever close by. there is probably better pizza out there, but its still great.

and if the roof of your mouth aint burnt after eating there, you ate the pie wrong.

Pauly Gee's in Brooklyn is the best in America that I've had. Haven't tried Grimaldi's or Di Fara though

A little "gourmet" (actually just a decent pizza that doesn't give me headaches like Pizza Hut or Dominoes) pizza place about ten minutes away.
The pizza is pretty good but I love it because the small size pizzas are the perfect size and the minimum delivery cost is perfect.
Plus, the drivers are always friendly and polite.

Recently moved for grad school. Eating a lot of frozen pizzas now.

I really like toppings so I just usually saute some peppers, sausage, chorizo and onions on a pan, and add then with extra cheese to a regular froen pizza before putting in the oven.

I still believe how good and cheap it is. Over i'm spending less than 3 euros per meal.
