Some travel guide rated a local pizza place/bar #1 in the nation and all the locals are excited about it, but desu I never liked their pizza that much. They only have thin crust. I like regular puffy pan pizza more.

There's this place near me that has fuck huge slices of NY style pizza for $2.50, and only 40 cents for toppings though I prefer just cheese. They also have a lunch special where you can get 2 slices + toppings and a drink for $5.25. Love that place.

Papa Gino's is honestly p good but it varies by location. they still use fresh dough and cook all their shit by hand.

otherwise there's about 50 local joints that are all acceptable, but the one place that had the best pizza flamed out, the owner was beating his wife or something, she started a new location but it flopped. seriously tho- square, proper dough, just the right amount of homade sauce and cheese, it was spec-i-tac-you-lar

There is a place near Hickory, NC that has that also. I love their pizza and when I'm in the area for work I always go for the lunch special. It's way better than any pizza I can get near my home in SC.
