WHY do people buy Teflon pans?
They are slightly cheaper than Aluminum but they last 1 year max before someone decides to ruin it by scraping a fork on it to make their shitty omelette.
>not ovensafe
>lasts about 2 years at the absolute max if you're extremely careful
>SHIT at searing meat since they can't heat up for shit
>literally melts and fills your house with nasty ass fumes if it gets too hot
>the non stick gets gradually worse over time
>can't use metal utensils or the teflon will chip off
WHY do people buy these?
because they're non-stick

Because non stick Idiot
I've had the same set for years and they work as well now as they did on day 1.
Take care of your shit and it will treat you right.

I bought one once I lived alone because I know how to take care of my own shit... and i eat a lot of eggs
I know there are recoating services for restaurants. If I take my pans and pots there will they service me? How can I contact them?

I fucking love my ceramic pans so much, nothing sticks in it, it's so easy to clean too.

I use superior stainless steel.
I use a small teflon pan that I bought from Ikea for 5 euros to make omelettes. I estimate it lasts for at least 100 uses, so even if I have to buy a new one a couple of times a year the cost still comes to less than 5 cents per use.
