As far as using spices in place of salt, Mrs. Dash is top tier.
However if you are seeking something that similarly replicates the taste/sensation that salt does you will be disappointed, because there is no true alternative. This is coming from someone who has searched high and low for years but nothing comes close.
There are "fake" salts such as NuSalt or >>8333895 but it doesn't sit right with me.
High salt intake is only bad for a small salt sensitive fraction of the population. Just have normal salt.
