I absolutely love animal fats.
Lard and beef tallow are GOAT. Duck fat is also nice on potatoes. Butter for pancakes, red meat and American pies.
Lard is great, but if you buy it commercially I find it to be kind of bitter/plastic tasting.
I saved and used some bacon grease recently.
Hate to admit, but it really does taste better. I dont want to harm my health, but no argument when it comes to great taste. Lard, beef fat, duck fat, bacon fat... its just better.
