More potato questions
Has anyone had a shitty experience buying potatoes from costco? I buy a bag and in about 3 to 5 days one goes rotten and explodes all over the others. I store them like I do any other potato, but costco ones just go bad so quick. I'd still eat the good ones if they weren't bathed in that horrid stench
I just bought some cod from the fish monger counter at Tesco then grilled and ate it. As soon as I put it in my mouth, I noticed that my tongue went slightly numb and my sense of taste got weaker. It's lasted for half an hour now. Is this normal, or do I need to go to hospital?

I have shitty experiences with bagged potatoes in general. Doesn't matter where I get them from they go bad quickly. So now I just buy potatoes from the bins. I get maybe four large ones and they last a while.
I want to make chocolate pie filling but all I have is a 4oz bar of baking chocolate. The recipie I normally use uses dark chocolate chips. I'd like to use the same recipie and I imagine I'd need to adjust the amount of sugar I use but I'm unsure of just how much I'd need to add. There's a recipie on the back of the box for brownies that uses two cups but that's a big jump from the 2/3 cup I normally use.
Also I've made this pie in milk and chocolate mint before. I'm wondering if I could do mocha this time if I add some coffee. Am I gonna fuck it up?
