They are delicious. As a white guy living in 1990's Brooklyn the guys in bow ties were all over the place with copies of the Final Call and the bean pies. I knew how they felt about me, but that didn't stop me from buying a black separatist bean pie to see if it was any good. It was. So I'd buy them every now and then. Truth be told if I were black I could see being sympathetic to the Nation. But I'm not. That's not gonna stop me from enjoying a bean pie every now and then, even if I know they hate me.
