Anyone got some good cooking books?

>Anyone can copy a step by step visual instruction video
lol, if only that were true
>I know all the basics
How am I 100% sure this is not true. What do you mean by ""basics"" ?

So, i must watch some shit for an hour or two to get the same information that can be read in more accessible form?
not op
I get what OP is saying but I agree that watching recipies on youtube is the easiest. If you don't want to do that, just watch food videos where they only give the ingredients and just figure out how to cook it yourself.
Otherwise just make your own shit up. But don't be a faggot and not eat it if it doesn't taste good. Associate disgusting food with failed recipies and you'll improve.

You will eventually learn enough about cooking if you make different recipes with similar ingredients
That's why you should stuck with one tipe of food like Asian or French also because you are going to need tons of different things if you want to make food from a different continent every day
