I am a student going to Liverpool tomorrow. I'm a shitty cook to be completely honest and I have no idea what I should get when I go. What should I get at these shops and What can I make with these ingredients. I love Asian food so any suggestions are definitely appreciated. I do not have a huge amount of money but am willing to spend what I need for some nice easy Asian food. Any help is massively appreciated. Thanks anons.
Anyone help me out?

THE ANSWER IS ALWAYS RICE AND BEANS. CHEAP AND TASTY. A BAG OF POTATOES CAN GO A LONG WAY TOO.

Get rice, beans, and chicken stock. Throw in a pot, simmer for a long time, eat. I appreciate you not starting a thread with a terribly vague premise.

Like proper beans or baked beans?

I will definitely grab those, thanks. Not sure if the last part is legit or sarcasm but cheers anyway.

Thai Chili oil is cheap, easy to find and easy to cook with. Rice can be cooked and left for a day, then stir fried with frozen vegetables for easy fried rice. Egg noodles (or ramen) can be used with your own spices and vegetables instead of pre-made seasonings. Throw an egg in raw while the noodles are boiling for easy protein.

That's perfect. Thank you very much.

You're welcome! My wife is a Chinese woman and we are both cheapskates.

I love Asian culture in general. I am trying to get going there as a year of my study but I haven't picked where yet lol. For now I'll make as much easy food as I can.
Asian women are great by the way.
