/ck/, I feel like treating myself to something special but I'm not sure what. I just got test results showing that my cancer is in full remission and I want something nice to celebrate. Normally I'd buy a steak but I'm a little tired of always doing the same thing. So what do you make or buy when you're in a special mood?
Pic related, my normal standby.

Congratulations and best of luck with the cancer thing!
Whenever I have something to celebrate or I have a good friend over, and I have plenty of time to spend in the kitchen, I usually make a big beef stew with amongst other ingredients sweet potato and stout beer.
Make one for two days and you'll have another day of celebration. It will taste even better the second day.

I'd probably buy some fancy cakes/cookies from an expensive/famous bakery. If I was going to make something, I'd probably make a cake.
Congrats anon! Glad to hear you're kicking cancer's ass.

that looks awesome.
How about some kind of creative burger OP? half lamb half sausage is good, with a pad of mozzarella in the middle. Pair that with a nice custom beer you enjoy that you normally wouldn't splurge on.
I think my next creation is going to be a bear steak with crab legs and some kind of russian stout.
