Raspberry custard tart, chocolate dacquoise and cloverleaf rolls. My mom and other people have savory things covered, but they make me do most of the baking. I might do a pumpkin pie as well, but there isn't much demand for it

Been thinking on some duck breast, with a cranberry whisky sauce. We've been deep frying our turkeys for the last couple of years, which is great, and easy, but a bit of rich dark meat seems in order. Would go nice with the rest of the meal: wild rice and morels, green beans and spaetzle, mashed taters & chix gravy...

im bringing cocktail weenies. They are real ones too. Not the fake kind or even the gourmet fake kind. Not Gourmet Real either.

Cooked the full meal last year. Going up to visit mom this year. No idea what I'll do. Coordinate with her when I get there. She usually tells me to do nothing, though she's getting on in years and I'm a better cook than I used to be.
