When me and the boys went to Japan we had whale in a few ways. We had sashimi of the tail and body, we had a pan fried 'steak' of whale which was brushed with a really nice sauce, and we had deep fried pieces of whale.

It really was quite good. A little bit like slightly fishy beef. The tail sashimi was fantastic. I can see why people eat it, and I'm glad I gave it a go.

I've had deep fried whale fat. Would imagine Americans loving that.

I live in Norway so i've eaten a fair bit, it's quite good but i prefer beef anyday. but it's worth a try atleast once. I've had several americans come try it and they say it's some of the best meat they've tasted

I've had it, but raw, not legally. It was very rich in iron I felt. Delicious.
