Rate my mexican-ish dish
Red beans 500g
3 peppers (green red Yellow)
Garlic
Onions
Canned tomatoes and tomato puree to thicken
2 fierce chili peppers
Spices: cumi, cilantro, thyme
Cayenne peper, shitload of Paprika. Salt
Served it with rice
Side dish/topping: salsa (tomatoes, spring onions, ground peppers) + sour cream
Any improvements? Or any spice combo that's not done? It's tasting really good tho

I really don't understand why anons are ragging on you so much. You're using the right spices and ingredients. You might try using some canned chipotle in adobo sauce next time in place of some of the fresh hot peppers. It adds a smoky heat to it. Sure, I usually use meat but you certainly don't have to.

Why do you say that? From the ingredients and spices used I'd say it definitely looks pretty Mexican-ish.
I think it looks good, anon. Especially for a simple rice and bean dish, which are always pretty basic to begin with. You did right with cumin, cayenne and cilantro, but I use chili powder rather than paprika.
Also, I always cook my ingredients in bacon fat, which adds a nice flavor. Try it next time.

Coming from a Mexican
You need Mexican Oregano. You can add whatever ingredients you want but never forget Mexican Orgeano You also need to use chicken stock/maggi/soysauce. Bay leaves would be ok too
And lastly. Don't use sour cream. Use creme fraiche insted

Born in Mexico. We Mexicans love ketchup, mayo, soy sauce, maggi, and soda. We even use em in dishes
