That. It can be modified with a different vinegar, one herb, or one more ingredient like finely minced vidalias, or a scant amount of honey.
My ex-father-in-law used to love a jelly jar shaken dressing that he was addicted to, that I grew to love too. It was always a tomato base, kind of a honey-tomato dressing with shallots. It used ketchup, ROFL.

Try this Roman style dressing if you are a fan of Caesar but not creamy: Olive oil, mashed up anchovy, pepper, lemon juice. Works great on more aggressive greens.
