Has anybody here ever made Boba tea? wondering if i should try it because i don't like having to pay money and go out every time for it

yeah it's easy enough. I have an asian market by me so I buy thai tea and boba, make the tea strong, ice it, pour in a lot of milk, add more sugar than normal, add boba- which starts dry but just boils for 10 minutes then cools
you can use whatever tea you have too, earl gray, fruit flavored teas

sounds easy enough, thanks

you have to buy the special width straws though, otherwise you don't get any boba till the end

It's pretty much just milk tea with these nasty, slimy, starch balls thrown in for no reason. You can get canned milk tea, or just make it yourself (it's literally just iced tea with milk and sugar, like a latte but with tea instead of coffee).

>missing out on standing in line with Asian cuties
Isn't that just coffee mate, raw tapioca, and sugar?

You can also use sweetened condensed milk instead of milk and sugar. It sounds redundant but it's great in Asian-style milk teas.

Cassava starch is delicious, you swine.
