Does the carbonation come naturally? Do i need malt and barely, how do I making pale ale, can i skip buying bubble filters and just put balloons over my gallon jugs?

You need to buy malt extract, and hops. It costs about as much to buy an airlock as it does to buy balloons.

You're going to have to get a better understanding of the process than you can get in a thread on /ck/. There are a number of websites you can google that have getting started sections. Also, a number of books. My first book and still excellent for extract booking was Papazian's, "The Complete Joy of Homebrewing." Do some reading and come back with specific questions.
