I went to a sake brewery for a tour/tasting and bought a new pair of sunglasses. Nobody came to my house because I live in a nice neighborhood on a hill and I didn't eat any candy because I'm not I child.

Our daughter (4) went as Donatello from TMNT and we had a great time. She got a pretty good haul of candy, which means we also got some decent candy. We were also given some mini bottles of alcohol as our "parent treats" from a few houses. So free candy and booze combined with family time = awesome. Plus we went to a fair before that and got to go to the petting zoo and ride some rides. I asked my Mom to hand out candy at our place and we got ZERO trick or treaters at our house. We usually go to the newer neighborhoods to trick or treat because our neighbors are all either old or think Halloween is only for devil worshippers (Yeah, we live in Texas).

Also, Halloween night was nice, I went out with friends whom I don't see often, drank some nice red wine (Labégorce 2012, not the most expensive and rare wine around since I'm not rich, but good nonetheless).
