It also contains information on knowing and choosing ingredients, cooking tips/techniques, cookware, even dinner and meal arrangement. You could go to allrecipes.com and just browse around until you see something worth trying. Youtube also has a plethora of instructional cooking videos. Look at the foodwishes channel and try one of Chef John's easier recipes.
