I know /ck/ gets a cheap eating thread almost every day, but mine is a little different.
I'm going to have a temporary situation where I won't have an income. During this time, I won't have consistent access to cooking utensils. Sometimes I might, sometimes I won't, but I definitely won't have the space to carry a big bag of beans or rice, freeze meals for later, etc. I'll probably have access to a microwave.
I'm not a total poorfag, I have money saved up in the bank, but I need to use it judiciously - I've gotten used to spending like $50 a day on food and booze and I won't be able to sustain that.
All of the ideas I have right now are like, canned soup and fast food dollar menus. Any quick an easier stuff to prepare that will give me better bang for my buck?

Use coupons like your life depends on it. Local chinese and mexican food restaurants are a good bet - you tend to be served a larger portion for a less. Also, breakfast should be your most filling meal, it'll keep you from getting hungry as quickly. Buy family meals and eat the left overs throughout the week. It'll be a pain in the ass on your taste buds but you'll live a nourished life long enough to get yourself in a more stable situation.
When you buy premade the labor is factored into the price. There's nothing frugal about that.
