Is this the best brand of coffee in its price range ($7 for 12 oz)?
Maybe it's that I've just started using whole beans, but I've tried the hazelnut (I know it's pleb, but it was on sale and I love hazelnut coffee in the early morning) and picked up some Guatemalan Atiguan today that I found to be really good.
Private Selection has more specialty-type stuff like Ethiopian and Sumatra, while other brands offered in my store just seem to offer different roast levels or maybe one or two blends.
Some of PS's stuff is pre-ground only, though. Can anyone tell me how it compares to their whole bean?
Its good enough that I keep a bag around if I run out of the good stuff.
Happy Mug isn't much more expensive though and its much higher in quality.

I'll try some of that when my current stock runs out; the El Salvador sounds really good.
