Why are they ruining every good dessert with salt these days?

More and more people are figuring out that salt enhances the flavors of sweet ingredients.

I'm all for it. I grew up sprinkling salt on my watermelon slices.

Unfortunately, that sells better than the same dessert with a reasonable amount of salt on it.

Luckily for me I love salt and love the combination of salty and sweet flavours, so for me this trend has been great.
