What are your favorite uses for these here angry onions?
Sometimes I like to eat them as food.
Believe it or not, you can use them in ice cream.

Anytime I make a pot of pinto beans, I always add a few of these into the pot whole for flavor. I like to use both jalapeno and serano peppers.

If you don't make them bleed then how does the taste release
As a joke after I've been cutting them I try to get intimate with my wife with a nice old fashioned round of stink finger.

I'll toss them in with with cucumbers when I'm making pickles.
I will use them with other peppers when I'm making hot sauce or sriracha.
I will bake one and throw it in the blender when I'm making hummus.

I use a Vitamix, which is a pretty high-powered blender... but the ingredients are soft enough that it might work in a regular blender too. Dunno, never tried.
2 cups cooked chickpeas (or 1 can)
4 tablespoons tahini
2-3 tablespoons minced garlic
4 tablespoons lemon juice
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
Blend until smooth. This alone will get you a decent basic hummus.
I frequently take a jalapeño, cut off the stem, and throw it in the oven for 10 minutes at 400 degrees. Then I'll throw it into the blender with the hummus for a spicy flavor.
Occasionally, I'll add a couple of dates with the jalapeño to give a bit of sweet and spicy.
