How should i season this mofo
anything you want
>>8216307
salt
pepper if you have to, but you might as well add some other meme like ranch powder or sriracha
>>8216307
You almost can't go wrong. I say either simple salt and pepper or go all out and put a little of everything you've got. You got any quality toppings or bread?
pepper, red pepper flakes, garlic, onion powder
maybe a bit of Worcestershire sauce, if you're feeling your oats.

wew
protip the best burger is worcestershire , garlic, salt and pepper
cover that bitch in cheddar cheese and yellow onion
Everyone post your burgers

Some sliders

If you want a good, old fashioned hamburger the way God intended, you salt it a little with some pepper to taste.
If you want to get REALLY fancy you can add bread crumbs, but once you start doing stuff like adding egg and other seasonings you're going into "fancy bullshit" category.
>>8216436
bread crumbs is anti fancy you fucking pleb
>>8216468
No it isn't. I can count on one hand how many chefs in restaurants at 4+ Star establishments use bread crumbs inside their hamburger patties.
Well, now either the concept is starting to catch on with those in fine dining establishments or I have met some chefs who prefer the method.

it's pleb tier
they're making meatball sandwiches, not burgers (if i'm to believe your bullshit, which do not)
This recipe makes absolutely delicious burgers so good that you won't even want anything else other than meat and bun:
Mix the following shit into the meat with your hands
>Honey
>Dijon mustard (real shit not that yellow dyed shit)
>worcestershire sauce, can sub in soy sauce instead
>garlic
>onions
>some seasonings if you want, maybe some chili powder or oregano
>one raw egg, to bind it
Amounts are up to taste, just grill that shit and it'll be godly
>>8216559
>raw egg to bind
>>8216582
I literally have seen multiple Michelin chefs use an egg in their hamburgers
>>8216600
You can be Michelin Man rated and still make an awful burger.
Just because your hamburger is $35 and pretentious, does not mean it's good.
>>8216614
You sound uncultured
>>8216313
I just added hambuger seasoning and idk what the other is.
>>8216614
>honey an egg and a few veggies is $35
Don't let the a1 steak sauce hit you on the way out
>>8216582
>not putting egg in your burger
Then how does it stay together? I've never heard of NOT using an egg
>>8216631
please leave
>>8216656
I used to make burgers all the time, now I'm in an apartment with no balcony and can't grill anymore. You can make a surprisingly tasty burger in the oven though.
>>8216659
I have to agree with that anon, I mix a raw egg with the patty when im making a recipe from scratch.
I wont use an egg if im going with a store made patty mix
>>8216631
If you are using freshly ground meat with enough fat content you dont need anything to bind it together. i made some burgers few months back using coarsely ground chuck and after lightly forming them stayed together when i cooked them on the flat top.

Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
its all you need!
Put some caramelized onions on top
