Why does everyone hate this beer, is it justified
>>8188053
Only people who like to taste their beers hate Miller lite.
No, it's not justified.
Shitty beer fills a role, a niche in the beer industry. It's unjustified to hate it the way a lot of beer snobs do. I treat it just like I treat shitty coffee, I don't drink it but more power to you if you can get a drink you like for much cheaper.
where did this shit even come from 5 years ago all the hipsters were drinking pbr like their lives depended on it and now everyone switched to this shit
Because it's sweeter than Bud Light and the current trend is "bitter = better".

Nah, it's ok as far as cheap macrobrews go. Natty ice on the other hand is fucking awful
>>8188053
It’s a good beer if you want a 12 pack for 11 dollars. Probably my favorite piss water style beer
Why would anyone drink Miller Lite when Highlife exists?
All Light beers are disgusting.
My father and sister drink it all the time. It gives me a headache so I steer clear of it. If I want a light beer, I'll drink Bud Light Platinum.
I mostly drink Michelob ultra.
How does Miller compare?
>>8188053
It's great for making flaming Dr. Peppers
It's pretty OK. Honestly there is so little difference between that style of macro brew that it's hard to even tell them apart unless you drink them right next to each other. Or unless your a boomer whos drank strictly the exact same brand for so many decades that thats literally all they can drink without complaining.
It's ok. I get a headache from not to many though.
Out of the big three it's my least favorite but my cousin loves the stuff.

Light Beer has its place, it's good for the hot outdoors, whether that's a long ass round of golf, sailing, or the beach. It keeps you hydrated and it's harder to get smashed on it.
Drinking it at a bar or home is utterly emasculating and/or foolish. Yay you've shaved off 30 calories on your diet. Good job buddy. I always get a chuckle out of a fatty ordering it, just get the regular version and actually enjoy your beer.
Alcoholics who worry about their waistline need to realize they're better off drinking Spirits.
You might as well just deal with the extra 40 calories and get a high life, which is an infinitely better beer.
Not to mention it's cheaper.

They don't call it The Champagne of Beers for nothing! That shit is The Shit!
>>8189877
>It keeps you hydrated and it's harder to get smashed on it.
Where are you getting your info? the ABV in light beers is usually the same as the regular stuff.
>>8189959
No its not. Bud light is 4.2, bud is 5. Coors is the same.
>>8189984
.8 ABV is of little consequence.
>>8189989
>.8 ABV is of little consequence.
having 20% more alcohol is significant.
If you drink 4 regular beers its roughly the equivalent of 5 light beers
Which if you are trying to get drunk (which is the only time anyone would drink a macro lager), this is significant
>>8190019
>its roughly
Very roughly; its not even one extra beer per 4.
>>8190032
4 regular beers are 4.95 light beers, I think my rounding to 5 was quite justified
>>8190039
Your "rounding" is once again 20% off.
>>8190049
no, thats not how math works
What precisely are you trying to say?
>>8190056
You're rounding up 20% ABV on each beer.
>>8190067
>You're rounding up 20% ABV on each beer.
What do you mean?
I was using 4.2% and 5%
4 regular beers =5*4=20 alcohol equivalents
5 Light beers =4.2*5= 21 alcohol equivalents
20/21=0.952, so 4 regular beers will give you 95.2% as much alcohol as 5 light beers
>>8190049
>>8190124
No, its 19%
5/4.2=1.1905
So roughly 20%
