Bought some chicken breasts on thursday in a pre package pack. Ate one then - covered the packet in cling film and put it in the fridge. Will it be okay to cook up the rest tomorrow?

Yuppers, you're good. Depending on how many you have, you can always freeze them and eat them months later if you want. Just made some drumsticks and breasts last night that I got CRAZY cheap a few months ago. Look for sales, freeze, eat like a king on a pauper's budget.
