I grew up believing I hated brussels sprouts.
Then I had them roasted.
Roasted brussels sprouts = god tier
Brussels sprouts any other way = beyond shit tier
Post bipolar foods.
Mix in a few chestnuts and a handful of lardons and you're in heaven.

pan-fried in butter with bacon makes them great as well.
most people steam them with nothing and they end up way overcooked and literally vomit-inducing. cook them correctly, like most things, and they are great.
>>8185273
I love them sauteed til browned too, bit of bacon, or lemon juice, or parmesan.
>>8185288
Or smoked paprika
Anyway guys,
Another bipolar food is eggs. They're only good raw.
>>8185273
I steam them by themselves for like five minutes and they're legitimately my favourite food. No seasoning or anything
>>8185447
>spoon out a bowl of piping hot grits, mix in two eggs, and eat. my go to breakfast
I'm going to say onions. I can tolerate them when they're raw, but there's no comparison to caramelized onions.
Brussels spouts get a bad rap from the media
Don't fukken steam them fucking assholes
Roasts the shits with garlic bacon and butter
Shit is delicious

Smelling cooked spinach makes me want to vomit, and looking at it is hardly appetizing.
However, raw spinach is fucking GOAT.

Brussels Sprouts.
The cornerstone of any nutritious meal.
That's not what bipolar means
>>8185273
I pan fry them with butter, salt, pepper, bacon and diced macadamia nuts.

Grew up believing I hated my dad's empanadas turns out I just hated cumin
Das made some cumin light empanadas and I completely changed my mind now I wish he invited me over to eat empanadas more often
>>8186510
Yes it is.

Could you live off this meal (and variations of it)?
Because I could eat it everyday. I fucking love Brussels sprouts and potatoes
>>8186905
god tier shit: cube potatoes, dice bacon, toss potatoes and bacon in a couple tsp of oil and a tbsp or so of grainy mustard. spread on a pan and toss in the oven at 400. When potatoes are almost cooked, toss in a few handfuls of halved brussel sprouts, stir, continue roasting until the edges sprouts are starting to crisp.
nothing else compares.
