Is Swiss Chalet another American meme 'restaurant' like Dennys? I've never evern been there but you can tell it's wetherspoons tier microwaved food. At least there you're getting a cheeky burger and a pint for a fiver - you know it's shit but it's cheap and forms a bed to drink on.

It's just rotisserie chicken, calm down achmed.

back in the 90's it used to be a lot better. They even used fresh cut fries. Then they got bought by one of these companies that owns 900 other franchises and cut costs and quality. In the last 10 years I've maybe had swiss 3 times and each time made me sick.

The gravy is still GOAT though.

Swiss Chalet is Canadian.

I live in Quebec and there are lots of rotisserie chicken chains, which was sort of odd to see when I first moved here... St-Hubert, Au Coq, Benny & Co, Scores, etc.

Swiss Chalet is pretty bottom tier compared to places like St. Hubert, but lots of people in Ontario grew up with it. It's nothing too special.
