So /ck/, I have a Lake Trout defrosting rn and I need ideas on what to do with it. Its a single huge filet with skin on and I'd like to impress my gf with a fairly pretty looking dish. Any suggestions?

Lake trout is pretty much only good for frying or chowder/soup.

Hope you've got some untreated cedar planks and genuine maple syrup (Vermont syrup will do, I guess).
