Looks really good. That's a proper medium-rare and not whatever those stupid infographics say is medium-rare.

Pretty fucking good mate. You did cut your shrooms a bit too small for my liking.
I mostly just half them, fry in really hot oil then add garlic,black pepper and a finely sliced shallot.
End the show with a splash of white wine, let it cook for a sec, add a bit of cream and fresh thyme.

Looks like a good medium rare, but the fat isn't rendered well enough. Next time, use tongs and hold the steak on it's side for a bit, or press the fatty sides against the side of your pan.

i made risotto with shrimp stock, grilled shrimp, corn on the cob with butter and seasoned salt and roasted red potatoes. first time with risotto and it was great.
