Is it pleb to eat at a restaurant by yourself?
Probably but I do it every weekend anyway
>Wake up around 8am on Saturday
>Go to Cracker Barrel and get the $5 plate of Biscuits and Gravy and a black coffee
>Go to laundromat after
>Read a book while clothes wash
>Throw into dryer, go to theater across the street and catch an early movie
>Come back and pack my clothes up and leave
Pretty fucking comfy
Eating at those places is for cam girls.
Sitting down in an actual restaurant with waiters and the whole shabang is awkward by yourself. Like you're waiting for a date.. and waiting and waiting.
But a fast food place, coffee shop, takeout place, any of those type joints is ok to go to by yourself.

This. I always feel like this, when I'm going alone to a non-fastfood place. Apart from lunchtime during the day. There it is kinda expected.

You sound like a character from some weird romantic comedy about some lonely city guy, that is soon to find his big love, but before it works out, he will cause some hilariously autistic mishaps.
I used to feel uncomfortable eating by myself but after working in hospitality for several years and seeing the decrepit slime that slithers out from under their rocks to dine and whinge alone but still craving attention, I can do anything by myself.

That is more appealing to me than the most lavish lifestyle possible. So damn comfy

TABLE FOR ONE, MOTHERFUCKER.
I do it all the time and never have a problem. Worst case scenario is they make you sit at the bar instead of at a table.
