What do Americans think about conveyor belt sushi?

Not a fan, the place near me sent it around in a little boat. The place closed down, they had been there for almost 40 uears. Good food but fuck that boat.

It varies in quality from place to place. Usually it's neither bad nor great.

I found a nice sushi shop around here that isn't conveyor-belt and only costs around $10-15 for a meal so I use that instead of the conveyor belt one on the rare occasion that I want to treat myself to some sushi.

Used to eat at Choshimaru Kaitenzushi in Yachiyodai, JP. Fucking great. Negitoro temaki, please.

Never seen it in the US. Doubt I'd eat it if I saw it. Kaitenzushi dries out quickly, so if the place isn't packed or you like less popular items, the quality may be suspect.

Eating sushi outside of Japan is cuck-tier, but I used to love it when I lived there for a year. I ate more fish at convertor belt sushi places than I had in my entire life up to that point.
