I bought some japanese curry off Amazon (Vermont, Mild).
When it arrived, it had expired. Never again.
Try samuraibuyer
2 bottles for $4 at the local Park To Shop
Shanghai bok Choy. Sauté with soy and garlic. Finish with sesame oil. Cheap too
Good in a pinch when you need somethin meaty for that stir fry.
Taro all day.

can you elaborate on your experience with customer service or how this works
Some stuff I keep in stock from the local Asian grocer. I've lived in this neighborhood and frequented these markets for 4 year and I still don't feel like a regular. The staff is polite, but always distant.
A must have.
WHERE THE FUCK CAN I GET SESAME DRESSING!? I had it in japan and that shit is off the chain! but the stuff on Amazon is so damn expensive

>cashier spills her spaghetti trying to flirt, she can't stop smiling
Honestly, it was probably because she was having trouble understanding you. Asian people actually from Asia spaghetti hard trying to understand westerners, but I don't blame them.

I tried the green tea version of this brand and it was really doughy, like floury and glutinous. I've never had mochi before and I know what it's made of, but I wanna make sure that's how it's supposed to taste and just not how this specific brand tastes.

that's how mochi is, super squishy
they all taste different but they all have the same texture
Sup bitches. If you're ever in Boston hit up the Super 88 Market.

My family used to make them from scratch and bake them. The dough was lighter and fluffier--way better than that specific processed brand, of which I've tried 3 flavors. The dough and filling in that shit are extremely dense in comparison to the authentic stuff. The filling was all sugary paste, whereas the authentic shit is actual beans.

A variety pack of this brand is on its way to my house rn
I assume the Taro is good? I've never had anything flavored like it or had it itself so I'm very curious
We made some sesame balls the other day. If you all haven't had these little treasures i highly recommend. My wife bought glutenous rice flour and red bean paste on amazon. We went to our local Walmart and got the sesame seeds..As for the customer experience..It was perfect. Was worried about the flour bursting open since our USPS manhandles packages, but it was perfect. I had never had red bean paste. Sounded gross to me, but after i tried it, it was so sweet, nothing like the "bean" part i was thinking it would be.
I want to try Pocari Sweat but Amazon is expensive as fuck it looks like.
There's one Asia Market I haven't tried but I no longer live near it and I don't recall ever seeing it there when I'd go there.

You can buy this at literally any indian-run off-license nowadays.
Guess they must love that shit or whatever.
Freaked me the fuck out when I first tried it because I didn't notice it was chock-full of little bits.

Same this is ultra true. Especcialy in san diego. I went to this one store in 4s I think it was. it was fucking great. I bought like 30$ of mochi and 50$ on those pop top sodas and weird candies.(spent alot because I live in LA and I wanted some for home.)
