it's soft, i don't really like soft cheeses but this one was pretty awesome tasting. had a hint of that flavor that makes parmigiano so distinct... i'm not sure how to describe it, i'm a noob.
but yea it was very buttery and kind of had a spicy taste if you're really perceptive. very slightly spicy.
