Hell no. I waste about 1/4 of most shrimp because I suck at pulling them off too.

You just have to use your hands to remove the shell...

Remove the head, break the shell and pull the shrimp out of its tail. Not that hard

I definitely eat tail if you know what I mean.

I like remove the shells then eat them with a fork when at home so I can continue to talk about fast food on /ck/ while eating shrimps covered in far too much cocktail sauce.

Lots of southern cooking, like creole style have some slow cooked dishes where they leave the shells on and tastes great. Either way chitin can't be digested fully so i just eat them like a normal human.

With shrimp cocktail, or shrimp in pasta, no...I do not eat the tails.

Deep fried, butterflied shrimp...I will eat the tails.
