I do something similar only without the cheese lol so just buttered pasta with salt and pepper, but a ton of extra coarse black pepper... Tastes good as fuck and nice crunchy/chewiness to it.

1 stick butter
4 cloves pressed or crushed and minced garlic
1 Tbsp basil, oregano
2 Tbsp parsley
2 cans minced clams (do not drain)
2 cups parmesan
~1/2 cup milk

Melt butter in a sauce pan. Add garlic to the butter and cook (do not burn butter). Add basil, oregano, parsley and clams. Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer and cook the pasta (spaghetti or fettucini). Use 1 lb of raw noodles.

Pour over the hot, drained pasta and add parmesan and milk to thicken the sauce and dress the pasta.
