Honestly, they're over hyped and I'd argue overpriced, but quality oysters prepped with good ingredients will forever be a staple of high class western dining. It's just unbeatable.

It's like eating the goddamn ocean. So good, plain is the best way to eat them especially if ur buying expensive oysters but I also really like the way sushi restraints serve them little ponzu/lemon and siracha

Cooked oysters aren't good at all, but a good bunch of raw ones can be some of the best shit ever.
