I have fresh garlic, but paste works great for this . And yes, this is the soccer mom version.

sautee onions in oil, add pastes, sweat for 1 minute

add turkey, brown (get all the juice out and get browning on pan)

add a little of sambal (forgot to picture), deglaze with fish sauce, lime juice, and if you need to, a litttle water

cook until that is almost dried out, add herbs, season with salt and pepper

i made rice o roni. to go with it, but whatever works.

and yes, this is the soccer mom version. i cooked this for my wife, my son, and i.and my wife's lunch tomorrow
