Bulletproof coffee? It's been a thing for a couple years at least.
>Nutritional value?
Dunno. Seems trivially easy to look up though. A cup of coffee + a Tb of butter.
>>Taste?
I have no idea, I don't drink coffee. But if I was curious I'd make a cup and try it.

I never heard of butter in coffee.
Does it call for salted or unsalted or does it really not make a difference. This is the first I've heard of this concoction. Is the idea for it to replace half n half?

Unsalted.
Here's the thing about the bulletproof meme: it only existst to shill an energy supplement
Somehow the meme got out of hand and people started thinking the aim was just to put butter in coffee as if that would improve it
Its utter bullshit shilled by fish oil salesmen
if you're out of cream and your coffee is too terrible to drink black then unsalted butter is not a terrible substitute.
It's not bad. Ceamy and nutty. I do it sometimes when I want some extra calories, but really, just butter the shit out of some toast, m8.
The Bulletproof Coffee meme is a scam to get you to buy that guy's super duper special $30/lb coffee and coconut oil

>1 Tbsp. Unsalted butter
>1 Tbsp. Coconut oil
>1 Mug coffee

its a damn good breakfast replacement if you're cutting calories. It keeps me awake and satiated well into the afternoon on just 200kcal.

>Creamy and nutty
that's what your mom said
Same but with black tea, helps with throat ache.
