Should I buy baking steel instead of a pizza stone?

if you cook a lot of pizzas, they are nice, but they are heavy - they are slow to heat up and you should test the strength of your racks. i have a steel in my oven and it causes the rack it is on to sag quite a bit.

the best way i've found to use a steel is to just set the oven on broil to get the thing as hot as possible.

steels are better than stones, and if you bake bread you'll have an added use for them.
