Don't have access to grill....should I cook ribs in the oven or a slow cooker. Also, pork or beef?

Pork.

In the oven.
>>
none factory pork
or normal beef

oven
>>
Pffff
The best meat is horse!!!
>>
Pork ribs in the oven, wrap them in foil and don't forget to remove the silver skin
>>
Rub with bbq sauce and some brown sugar and put a little water or preferbly apple juice in a pyrex pan, cover with foil and cook at 350 for two hours, then remove foil and cook for another 15-20 so it carmalizes. This will make the meat fall off the bone and be crispy.if you dont wanna wait two hours, do the same just cook for 30mins before removing foil, but.it wont be fall off the bone tender

Agreed. Last week I made a Dr Pepper BBQ sauce. Added a Pork rack and sauce to crockpot. Cooked on low for about 6 hours. Came out tender. Put Ribs in oven at 375 for about 7 minutes to harden the sauce. Wonderfuk

For spare ribs or baby back
Rub with dry rub.
Wrap in heavy weight foil (2 stacks on each other)
Bake 250F, 3hrs or until bones move in joint

Baste with sauce and broil both sides until bubbly and caramelized. If you're trying to go after a BBQ taste, you might wanna burn that sauce on there for the smoke, lol. Or you use a sauce that is smoky in description, bit of liquid smoke in there, like hickory. Or if just craving ribs, any ribs, have fun with some jalapeno jelly and cilantro, hoisin sauce, chinese or thai chili sauce, or other fun.
